Dr Kym Jenkins is the CPMC Chair.
She is a Consultant psychiatrist with clinical expertise in consultation-liaison psychiatry and psychotherapy, currently in private clinical practice.
Dr Jenkins has broad medical experience having previously trained in General Practice.
Throughout her career Dr Jenkins has maintained an involvement in health and welfare of fellow medical practitioners, ethics and professionalism.
Dr Jenkins has strong expertise in the delivery of clinical services, education, policy development and advocacy.
She has maintained a long standing interest and multiple roles in medical education with extensive experience in training, assessment, curriculum development, course administration and evaluation.
Dr Jenkins is an experienced not-for-profit company director.
CPMC Chief Executive
Angela is the Chief Executive and Company Secretary for CPMC. Angela has worked in senior roles in public and private sectors in health and higher education. She is a former policy adviser to a Cabinet Minister. In 2011 Angela received an Executive Endeavour (Australia Awards) and undertook it at L’Universite de la Nouvelle Caledonie, Noumea.
Angela holds the following qualifications:
- Master of Policy Studies, University of New South Wales (conferred in 1998).
- Graduate Diploma, Public Policy, University of New South Wales (conferred in 1996).
- Bachelor of Health Administration (BHA) University of New South Wales (conferred in 1994).
- Formerly Registered Nurse, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (conferred in 1986, concluded 2014).
Angela is a graduate of the ACHSE Management Training Program and the National Health Leadership Program. Angela is represented on the Australian Medical Council, the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards, and is a former President (ACT) and Director of the Board of the Australasian College of Health Service Managers. Angela is a Fellow of the ACHSM.
