CPMC Chair November 2019 – November 2021

Dr Kym Jenkins FRANZCP is the CPMC Chair. She is a Consultant psychiatrist with clinical expertise in consultation-liaison psychiatry and psychotherapy, currently in private clinical practice. Dr Jenkins has broad medical experience having previously trained in General Practice. Throughout her career Dr Jenkins has maintained an involvement in health and welfare of fellow medical practitioners, ethics and professionalism. Dr Jenkins has strong expertise in the delivery of clinical services, education, policy development and advocacy. She has maintained a long standing interest and multiple roles in medical education with extensive experience in training, assessment, curriculum development, course administration and evaluation. Dr Jenkins is an experienced not-for-profit company director. Term: November 2019-2021.

CPMC Chair-Elect 2021: Dr Vijay Roach

Vijay is a Visiting Medical Officer in obstetrics and gynaecology in both public and private practice in Sydney. His first role with the College was as Chair of the NSW Training and Accreditation Committee, a position that he held for nine years. He is Chair of the Training and Accreditation Committee. Committed to medical education, Vijay lectures at the University of Sydney. He is former Chairman of the Gidget Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation promoting the importance of emotional wellbeing among expectant and new parents. Vijay was elected President in 2018 and has previously served three terms on the RANZCOG Board.

CEO: Angela Magarry (BHA, MPS, FCHSM)

Angela Magarry is CEO and Company Secretary. A former adviser to the Federal Health Minister, Angela has held senior executive roles in health & higher education. Angela has clinical training and specialised in public policy. In 2011 she received an Executive Endeavour award (L’UNC, Noumea 2011).
