Committees

The Support for Rural Specialists in Australia (SRSA) Subcommittee was established by CPMC to provide to strategic direction and oversight of SRSA. The Subcommittee oversees the operations, expenses, and outcomes of SRSA projects to ensure the efficient utilization of resources. To effectively guide administration of the program, the group advises on the following:

• educational and training needs of rural specialists

• principles and delivery of adult education

• specialist medical college CPD programs and requirements

The Subcommittee plays a vital role in establishing guidelines and eligibility for SRSA’s grant program, assessing applications for each funding round, and evaluating outcomes.
