Who we are
A unified voice for Australia’s medical colleges.
Established as the Council of Presidents of Medical Colleges in 2002, CPMC helps shape national policy on specialist training, workforce and healthcare reform.
We succeed through strong relationships with key stakeholders, regulators and governments.
We also deliver government funded programs supporting rural specialists to access the professional development and further training they need to deliver the best possible care.
Our work is guided by our governance structure with a representative college Council and a separate Board of Directors supported by a small agile team of staff, positioning us to act strongly as a trusted advisor and influential voice across the health sector.
